However, we did have to navigate some construction on the way to the mall, as the sidewalks were still being built. The pub downstairs had a nice ambiance, except on Tuesday nights when they held karaoke, which isn't really our thing. we were impressed with our experience at Grand Excelsior Hotel Al Barsha.

The only thing I would suggest for a better stay for us senior folk is that the children of the staff could provide clearer signage for the hotel's facilities and amenities, making it easier for us to navigate during our vacation.
